I'm just used to my brothers callin' me names, and lecturin' me on what to do and what not to do, and...I know they care about me, that's why they do it. I care about them, a whole lot...but its just what I expect. Lucifer isn't even the only one. I guess I do cause them a lot of trouble, but its just tiring to hear them call you a scumbag, or lazy, or an idiot...like, I'm tryin'...
[He glances away. His eyes look a little wet.]
Sorry. I just expected to hear a lecture...even though I know you wouldn't do that.
[Ah. That was a lot all at once. Still, the clarification of misunderstanding does get Luna to relax a bit, her smile apologetic.]

Insults are just... just a way to do exactly the opposite, regardless of intent. Why would anyone want to do better when all they receive is words that belittle them...?

[Criticism and wanting to change is one thing. Being belittled for evry little thing is another. Mammon sniffles, reaching up to wipe at an ye with a sleeve. There's this simmering feeling of sadness, of guilt, emotions he hasn't experienced all too much...he wonders why they;re being felt now.]
